Look Ma, I gradumacated!!

 

So I have a very good reason why I haven't been blogging lately.

I graduated preschool and am back in a district teaching kindergarten!

I didn't plan on not posting here but now that I'm on the cpu literally all day at school I just don't feel like being on my own cpu.

I'm also so far behind at home bc I just don't have time!

I've known since April. I announced it at preschool the middle of July then started officially Aug 1st. 

Best thing about all this is...

I'm so much happier!

I truly was in a toxic environment. I started being the target this past January and I knew I needed out more than ever. My former director is a horrible human being. Truly - she's ruined that place in so many ways.

I hate that the company doesn't do exit interviews. My guess is because they don't want to know how horrible they are. I thought about calling HR but I decided to let karma play out.

I'm supported now and the team I'm in is amazing. I can't wait to see us do amazing things.

I will pop in sooner than later but that's what's going on!

February book review - pretty good reading month as I enjoyed all of them.

 I really recommend the Last Love Note, it was a favorite!

Sick = stressed

 

It's been awhile, I know.

I'm currently out sick with some bug.

Honestly I think it's mixed with stress.

My professional life has been a roller coaster since January. Which then makes my personal life more hectic because I'm exhausted and have no energy for anything.

I think getting sick is your body's way of saying STOP!

I know what needs to be done.

Prayers for me that it happens.

I promise to be back sooner than later and more positive!

Happy 2024 everyone!

My break ends tomorrow, its been a great 10 days off.  It dawned on me that I do need this week between the 2 holidays off so this will be a definite no matter what in the future.

I've gotten so much done this break and then before when I had covid.  Its almost like life needed I needed to slow down and it worked.

I had 2 big things that we needed to finish this week and we got those done 2 - yay!

My photo album tagline on FB is "Shine & Roar in 2024" - because that's exactly what I'm going to do.
