A mini update!

Hi!! Remember me?

Life has been one word: crazy!

Let's recap:

- my sister returned from her ski trip to Colorado, was hospitalized and diagnosed with Guillian Barre.  Google it, crazy!

- she was in the hospital 10 days and is now home but still recovering.  I helped with the twins a lot when my brother in law needed and visited her at the hospital every other day. She cant lift the girls yet and cant really take care of them by herself yet so I'm still helping out.

- we saw Garth Brooks here in STL. It was great!

- We traveled to Pittsburgh to see the Blues crush the Penguins. I'll be posting about that Thurs & Fri.

- I am being crafty with my sister for the twins party. Cant believe they will be 1 on April 3rd.

Blogging isnt an everyday thing anymore. But I still love it!

#garthstl2019

2 weekends ago Garth Brooks graced the stage at the Dome in St. Louis and it was a blast!

We had a group of 8 that went and unfortunately due to my sisters hospitalization she was unable to attend...in person that is!

He always puts on a great show and this was just as great. I've now seen him 3 times (KC, Nashville & STL) and each time the show is different. On of my favorites is the Beaches of Cheyenne and he actually played it.  It's an oldie but goodie!

Thank you Garth for a great show!

February books!

Life According to Steph

Blogging has taken a back seat with some issues going on with my family.  Say a few prayers and I will update soon with everything going on.

Until then...

I've been reading and my pile keeps growing faster than I can read them. I read a few good ones in February.

4 stars
This is book #2 in a 4 book series.  I love it because it's set in the outside nature of Colorado. 2 different families continue to interweave as one.

4 stars
Several peoples lives are affected due to a snowstorm.  It's a feel good book!

5 stars
Book #3 in a series brings a family closer together than ever as they celebrate a homecoming, and a wedding amongst other things.  I have really liked reading this series, theres 1 more.

2 stars
I could not get into this book. I truly tried but just wasn't a fan.

5 stars
I loved this book. This is something we see happen on an almost daily basis but we never truly know why and the ending doesn't happen this way. But I highly recommend this book!

What are you reading this week?

Check me out on Goodreads!
